Cantrell and Crowley Architects have secured planning permission for a part-6 storey to part-8 storey over basement residential development comprising 72 apartments in a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units.

The building has been conceived as two blocks connected by a central glazed element containing the circulation. One block faces east towards Dublin Bay and is 6 storeys in height. The other block faces west towards the Dublin Mountains and is 8 storeys in height.

The central glazed section rises above the lower brick clad blocks to create a penthouse level. A roof terrace is created on top of the lower block providing expansive views over Dublin Bay.

Access is provided to a landscaped area alongside the existing stream to the north of the site, where residents can enjoy the outdoor amenities in a mature wooded setting.

Cantrell & Crowley are looking forward to this project starting on site in the near future.
